I spoke with multiple solar companies while shopping for solar, and Alex at SoCal Solar Brokers was head and shoulders above the rest. I especially appreciated that as a broker, Alex is able to focus on your best interest. Where some solar install companies are focused on a specific brand or inverter setup, Alex tailored the proposed solution to what he thought was best for my installation, and was flexible as we discussed possible hardware options, layouts and the like. He also took the time Zoom (in the time of Covid) with me on multiple occasions, walking through different proposal options, and was always responsive over email as well. Couldn't recommend highly enough!

Please do yourself a favor and at bare minimum meet with Michael Faelin of So Cal Solar Brokers. Michael@socalsolarbrokers.com. I'm in the property management business and my career is basically vendor management. I'm also a Costco member and I'm in love with Costco and I definitely researched Costco's solar options. So how do you figure out which solar company to pick with so many options? Simple, meet with Michael and tell him what you envision and you will get a great understanding of solar options and pricing. As we see this solar market skyrocket with a thousand solar installers in California, it's nice to see there's a "Broker" who can work with any of them. SoCal Solar Brokers gets multiple bids and presents them to customers, so the client ultimately makes the decision as to who they want to go with.
Alan Jehamy procures discounted pricing to bring the installation companies lots of business, and SoCal Solar Brokers becomes the sales team.
I like this business concept... kinda like Lending Tree and others who make the bidders cut pricing for your job.

I did the solar dance 2 -3 times and never pulled the trigger. It was difficult understanding the different quotes from all the different solar companies.

Alan's company works with you on sizing and gets quotes from various solar companies to help you get the best price and install. It made my decision a lot easier and ended up being significantly cheaper that the quotes I had recieved in the past.

We are now moving (unexpectedly ) to a new home and will be using these guys again.

Wade designed a great solar system for us, with 16 all black panels (that look awesome!), and enough production to more than cover our power consumption for the year. We also needed a main panel upgrade and Wade recommended a great local installer who was also a licensed electrician. I'm a big stats nerd, so I'm really enjoying all the panel and consumption monitoring. SoCal Solar Brokers is top notch!

If you're considering going Solar these guys are the best! I've been looking to go solar for awhile but because of the unusual roofing tiles on my house several other Solar companies said they would not be able to install. SoCal Solar Brokers and Alan came recommended to me from a friend and they found a way to make it happen for us. I found Alan was very knowledgeable about the solar industry and since he is a "solar broker" he is able to represent more than one company/product, he showed us several different programs and we picked one that went best with our needs and our roof. I work from home a lot and it's a great feeling running the AC during the day and knowing it's not running up my electric bill.

Amazing as the weather in San Diego get hotter the need for air conditioning has become important. Yikes, which means higher electric bills.
Going Solar? You may to be considering solar. Who to go with? It is a no brainer. Alan Jehamy, Owner of SoCal Solar Brokers sure is a good way to go.
