Event Description: The Class of 1965 of Sacred Heart High School is holding a picnic at The Pavilion at La Bella Vista, 380 Farmwood Road, Waterbury, CT on Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. This event is being organized to raise funds for the Fr. Blanchfield Scholarship Fund which will allow for a scholarship to be awarded to a student at Sacred Heart High School at the Alumni Awards Dinner to be held on Monday, November 7, 2016 at the Aqua Turf. The cost to attend this picnic is $25 and will include the following menu: The Pavilions American Grill (hot dogs, cheeseburgers, hamburgers, sausage patties, rib eye steak sandwiches, fired long hot peppers, assorted condiments, and Portuguese rolls and buns), roasted chicken, sausage and peppers, mixed green salad, cole slaw, corn on the cob, roasted potato wedges, pasta salad, penne with house tomato sauce, caprese platter, prosciutto station, and ice cream sundae station. Mr. & Mrs. Jerry Arcaro, Class of ’65, are the organizers of this event and will donate $50 to the Fr. Blanchfield Fund for every person who attends the picnic. The La Bella Vista facility requires a minimum of 50 attendees. This is a wonderful opportunity to support this worthy scholarship fund of which Fr. Blanchfield would be so proud to have established in his honor. All alumni and friends of the Heart are welcome to join the Arcaros to renew old friendships and support the Fr. John P.
